The Better Men Society
Robert "Bobby" Davis
His legacy, his ministry, his heart live on
7/21/78 - 5/1/22
The late Robert “Bobby” Davis founded The Better Men Society out of his own life’s challenges, his love of God and desire to help others. After his own troubled youth, he found his way back to Jesus, and became a living example of what God can do in the lives of others who were adequately mentored, loved, and supported.
Providing for the less fortunate, guiding troubled youth, assisting the elderly, mentoring children and protecting his community were a daily mission for him. Through the Better Men Society, he built a brotherhood to help him do this, and gave God the glory.
His efforts to spread the love of Jesus with his testimony, promote literacy in children, rebuild communities, and address crime, all made a huge impact on the lives he touched. He was relentless and left no stone unturned.
Ministry was not what he did; it was WHO HE WAS. Every day, he found a way to bless someone with his life and God-given talents.
Bobby gave glory to God for all of the positive and negative experiences that helped shape him. He was not ashamed of any setbacks or challenges that pushed him into God’s purpose of inspiring young men and teaching them that it doesn't matter how you start, it's how you finish.
Bobby finished well, indeed. And, as a result, now many soldiers aspire to walk in his footsteps with the Better Men Society helping others.
And so, his legacy lives on…
