The Better Men Society (BMS) was founded in Jackson, Mississippi, by the late Robert "Bobby" Davis. After Bobby's tragic death in May 2022, BMS member Chris Cooper followed the calling and continued Bobby's legacy.

 

The Better Men Society is a grass roots, boots-on-the-ground effort to serve others through the love of Jesus. This includes providing food, water, clothing, mentoring and prayer to the homeless, troubled, youth and less fortunate.

 

BMS works independently and with local organizations to stop the violence, prevent drug use and deter crime. BMS mentors youth and young adults through multiple programs with life skills, academics and more.
